Our Team of Tutors
We at Learning Tank take great pride in the quality of our tutors. We are very selective in our hiring process. You can be assured that the tutor working with your child is professional and will be able to improve your child's academic performance. We only hire certified teachers and professionals who are experienced in teaching and / or tutoring. We screen all of our tutors to ensure that they are not only
knowledgeable about their subject matter but they also share our vision of empowering each and every student with
independent skills and a love for learning. It is of paramount importance to us that every child leaves each session feeling confident in themselves and their ability to learn. In addition, we require that every tutor provides
national criminal background checks, including 50 States 'Sexual Offender/ Predator Search before they are sent out to any tutoring session. We also check their credentials such as
college transcripts, certifications, professional and personal
references. We monitor all tutors to make sure they are effectively helping their students meet their educational
goals. We also periodically check in with each students' family to ensure their full satisfaction with our program.
Learning Tank
Learning Tank is a Christian based Tutoring Service dedicated to helping students realize their God-given potential academically or otherwise. It is our belief that children are gifts from God (Psalm 127:3) and it is all of our responsibilities to help prepare them so that they may discover and be ready to walk in their God-given purpose. This belief has influenced our mission for Learning Tank greatly. Our Mission is to equip children with the skills necessary to ensure that they attain their God-given potential and to develop a proper personal understanding of themselves as a unique individual created in the image of God.
Our services are therefore designed with our mission in mind. We strive to teach students the love for learning and develop within them the benefits of achieving excellence through learning. We also provide our students with the skills they need to ensure their ability to reason and make logical, intelligent decisions now and in the future.
